Kroger Feedback Survey: 50 Fuel Points and What It’s Really Worth

The Kroger feedback survey is a customer satisfaction survey at kroger.com/feedback that pays 50 bonus fuel points to the loyalty card used on your receipt. You need the date, the time and the Entry ID printed on that receipt. It takes about four minutes.

That’s the whole thing. Everything below is the detail, and you can jump straight to whichever part broke for you.

Who actually runs the Kroger feedback survey

Type kroger.com/feedback and watch the address bar. It doesn’t stay there. Kroger redirects you to a Qualtrics form hosted at 8451cx.az1.qualtrics.com, and that subdomain names the operator. 84.51° is Kroger’s own data science company, the one that reads what tens of millions of American households put in their carts every week.

So three companies are involved. Kroger owns the program, 84.51° processes the data, Qualtrics is the software the form runs on.

That redirect also settles the “official site” question. kroger.com/feedback is the real entry point. Every krogerfeedback dot-something with dashes in the domain is a copy of a copy, and some of them are just ad pages wearing a Kroger costume.

kroger.com /feedback 302 redirect Qualtrics form 8451cx.az1.qualtrics.com answers 84.51° Kroger data arm subsidiary of The Kroger Co. HOW THE 50 POINTS FIND YOU Entry ID from the receipt identifies One transaction your shopping trip carries Your loyalty card where points land
The survey is a Qualtrics form that 84.51°, a Kroger subsidiary, runs. Nothing here is an account, which is why there is no login. If your card was not scanned at checkout, the last link in the bottom chain is missing and no points can post.

What you need before you start

You need the date, the time and the Entry ID.

The Entry ID prints near the bottom of a Kroger receipt, in groups of digits under a line inviting you to take the survey. The entry screen gives you six separate boxes for it, one group per box, so type each group into its own box instead of trying to paste the whole string into the first one.

Time is where most people fail, and not for the reason you would guess. The form does not let you type it. You pick the hour, the minute and AM or PM from three dropdown menus, and the clock is 12-hour only. So if your receipt prints 14:32, you have to convert it to 2:32 PM yourself before you can select it.

The fourth thing isn’t on the paper at all. Your Kroger Plus Card, or your banner’s version of it, has to have been on the transaction. That means you scanned it or gave the phone number at the register. No card on the trip means no card for the points to land on, and you can answer every question perfectly and receive nothing.

Two things you don’t need: an account and an app. The Kroger feedback survey has no username, no password and no sign-in screen, and there is no Kroger Feedback app on the App Store or Google Play. It’s a web form you open in Safari or Chrome. If a site walked you through a “login process,” that site invented it to match a keyword.

A Kroger receipt stays valid for the survey for about a week in most divisions. Treat it as a same-week job.

Everything is a dropdown You pick the date and time from menus, you do not type them. The clock is 12-hour with AM/PM, so a receipt that prints 14:32 has to become 2:32 PM.
The entry screen, drawn from the live form. Six Entry ID boxes, a Yes/No question rather than a hidden link, and dropdown menus for the date and time. That last detail is the one that catches people: there is no way to type 24-hour time.
  1. Open kroger.com/feedback Let the redirect to the Qualtrics form happen. Don’t fight it, that’s the real survey.
  2. Choose English or Spanish Both versions pay the same 50 fuel points.
  3. Pick the date from the dropdowns Month, day and year, taken off the receipt.
  4. Pick the time from the dropdowns Hour, minute and AM/PM. A receipt printed in 24-hour time has to be converted first.
  5. Type the Entry ID into its six boxes One group of digits per box.
  6. Answer the rating questions Store, checkout, produce, staff. Mostly 1-to-5 or 1-to-10 scales.
  7. Write something real in the comment box This is the only part a human will ever read. More on that below.
  8. Submit and read the confirmation screen That screen is your proof the survey went through.
  9. Wait up to 48 hours, then check your fuel points balance At kroger.com or in the Kroger app.

Step seven is the only part that matters to anybody but you. The open-ended box is the one section a human at 84.51° might read, and verbatim comments do get routed back to store leadership. “Everything was great” dies in a database. “Two of six self-checkout lanes open at 6pm on a Tuesday” is a sentence a district manager has to answer for.

What questions the Kroger survey asks

Nothing invasive. The Kroger survey covers overall satisfaction with the trip, how easy it was to find things, produce and meat quality, store cleanliness, checkout speed and staff friendliness. Most questions use a 1-to-5 or 1-to-10 rating scale, and the set also touches product availability, store layout and the overall shopping experience. There’s a likelihood-to-recommend question and at least one open-ended text box.

It runs about ninety seconds if you click straight through, closer to four minutes if you type a real answer.

They do measure how fast you go. Straight-lining every question at maximum speed, all fives or all ones, is the exact pattern quality filters look for. I don’t know Kroger’s specific threshold and I’m not going to pretend I do, but blasting through survey after survey is not consequence-free.

Is the Kroger feedback survey anonymous

Not really, and anyone telling you it is hasn’t thought it through.

The form doesn’t ask for your name. But the Entry ID identifies one specific transaction, that transaction carries your loyalty card, and your loyalty card carries your name, phone number and full purchase history. Kroger can connect your answers to you whenever it wants to. That’s the entire point of running the survey through 84.51° instead of a generic feedback box.

This isn’t a reason to skip it. It’s a reason to know that “anonymous survey” is not what this is.

What 50 Kroger fuel points is actually worth

Fifty fuel points is worth 5 cents off a gallon, which on a 12-gallon fill is about sixty cents. With one catch that almost nobody mentions.

Kroger’s fuel program runs at 100 points for 10 cents off a gallon, and points only redeem in whole blocks of 100. So 50 points on its own buys you nothing at the pump. Its real job is getting you halfway to the next block, and since you’re already earning 1 point per dollar on groceries, that half always gets completed. The 5 cents is marginal value, not a standalone coupon.

WHAT YOU EARNED $120 shop = 120 pts Survey = 50 pts Monthly balance 170 pts splits into blocks of 100 1 block 100 pts, redeemable 70 left over worth nothing yet At the pump 10¢ off per gallon up to 35 gallons On groceries $1.00 off the bill max 1,000 pts a day THE CATCH 50 points on its own redeems as nothing. It only pays once your balance crosses the next hundred, which groceries do anyway. Leftovers die at the end of next month.
Fuel points redeem only in whole hundreds, and each hundred is worth either 10 cents a gallon or a dollar off groceries. That is why the survey 50 points matter as a top-up rather than as a reward you can spend on its own.

Play with the numbers yourself.

50050¢$6.00$17.50
1,000$1.00$12.00$35.00

Sixty cents sounds insulting on its own. The reason four minutes is still worth spending is stacking. You already earn 1 point per dollar on groceries, so a $120 shop is 120 points. Add the survey bonus and that single trip becomes 170. Four weeks of the same behavior is 680 points, which is 60 cents a gallon, and on a full 35-gallon fill that’s a $21 discount.

The survey isn’t the reward. It’s the thing that pushes you over the next 100-point line every single week.

Every way to earn Kroger fuel points

The survey is one of several. Kroger’s own points program page lists the rest.

ActivityPoints earned
Most groceries1 point per $1
Most gift cards2 points per $1
Standard prescription25 points
90-day prescription refill75 points
Completing the feedback survey50 points

Kroger runs multiplier promotions on top of this, most often 4x fuel points on gift cards and periodic 2x events on groceries. Those require clipping a digital coupon in the Kroger app before you shop, so the promotion does nothing if you find out about it at the register.

Some purchases earn nothing at all. Fuel itself, certain gift cards, prepaid debit cards, lottery tickets and tobacco are excluded from earning.

You can spend Kroger fuel points on groceries instead of fuel

This is the part almost nobody writing about the survey mentions, and it changes the math. Kroger’s points program page states that 100 points also redeems as $1 off groceries, with a daily ceiling of 1,000 points or $10.

So the same 100-point block that buys 10 cents a gallon also buys a dollar off your groceries, and that value doesn’t depend on owning a car. Your 50 survey points are half of that block either way.

Fuel is still the better rate if you drive something thirsty. On a 35-gallon fill, 1,000 points is worth $35 at the pump against $10 on groceries. But on a 12-gallon fill the same 1,000 points saves $12 at the pump, so the two are close, and the real question becomes which one you’ll actually use before the points expire.

Where you can spend Kroger fuel points

Kroger fuel points redeem at Kroger fuel centers and at partner stations. Kroger’s own points FAQ names Shell, bp, Amoco and Turkey Hill, then adds “and other local partners,” because the partner list is set regionally. The station your cousin uses in another state may not honor them near you.

Partner caps matter, and they’re the thing people get burned by. Kroger fuel centers honor up to $1 off a gallon. Partner stations have commonly been capped lower, so a big balance can be worth far less at a Shell pump than at a Kroger one. Check the sign before you commit 500 points to it.

The gallon cap is 35 per fill-up, per transaction, which puts the standard maximum single redemption at $35. Kroger notes that limits can vary by location, and a few sites go above $1 a gallon. If your tank is smaller than 35 gallons, none of these ceilings ever come up.

When Kroger fuel points expire

Kroger fuel points expire at the end of the month after the month you earned them. Points earned in December are dead after January 31, and monthly balances don’t combine.

Every year people watch a few hundred points vanish and blame the app. It’s not the app.

Why the Kroger feedback survey is not working

In rough order of how often each one is the actual cause.

The receipt is too old. That’s most cases, and there’s no fix for it.

The time is wrong. The form uses 12-hour dropdowns, so a receipt showing 14:32 has to be selected as 2:32 PM.

You’re holding a fuel center receipt. Gas purchases don’t carry a store survey Entry ID.

That receipt was already used. One survey per Entry ID, and it’s enforced.

Scripts are blocked. An ad blocker or a privacy browser stops the Qualtrics form loading at all, and the page returns exactly one line of text: “Javascript is required to load this page.” Clearing your browser cache is the other thing worth trying, because a half-loaded earlier attempt can leave the form stuck.

Then there’s “not working today,” which is its own search for a reason. Qualtrics forms do go down, and Kroger pushes changes without announcing them. If the page loads but rejects an Entry ID you know is correct, and your receipt is three days old, wait a few hours before deciding you did something wrong.

What to do when your receipt has no Entry ID

Use the store phone number instead. The very first thing the entry screen asks is “Is there an Entry ID on your receipt?” with Yes and No buttons. Pick No and the form swaps the six Entry ID boxes for a single phone number field.

Missing Entry IDs are normal, not a defect. Pickup and delivery receipts often skip them, and some store printers do too.

You do not need the store locator for this. The number is printed at the top of your own receipt, and the form wants all 10 digits with no spaces, dashes or brackets.

What to do when your fuel points don’t show up

Give it 48 hours first. After that, sign in at kroger.com or open the Kroger app and check your fuel points balance. It shows the current month’s total and whatever is carrying over from last month.

Nine times out of ten, missing points mean the loyalty card wasn’t attached to the transaction. Kroger customer service can sometimes add a card to a recent trip if you still have the paper receipt.

Which is the real argument for keeping it. Until those 50 points appear, that Entry ID is the only evidence you have that the trip happened at all.

Is the Kroger survey legit

The survey printed on your Kroger receipt is legitimate. Kroger runs it, 84.51° processes it, the 50 fuel points are real and they post to your card.

The Kroger survey that found you somewhere else probably isn’t. Kroger spokeswoman Patty Lesseman drew the line in a 2017 consumer warning: Kroger “is not placing surveys on Facebook feeds” and “will not put an unexpected popup page on your smartphone.” If a survey promises $100 in free groceries for four questions and it reached you through a Facebook ad, it’s fake.

The rule that has never failed: the real Kroger survey starts on paper, in your hand, from a store you actually visited.

What “Kroger customer survey analysts” actually is

This one is a fake-check scam, and it costs people real money. Kroger does not hire survey takers, and it does not send you a check.

It arrives as an email or a mailed letter saying you’ve been selected as a Kroger secret shopper or customer survey analyst, paying up to $400. A check follows. You’re told to deposit it, spend part of it evaluating a Kroger store, keep your $400, and wire the remainder back. Two weeks later the bank rules the check fraudulent and takes the full amount back out of your account. You’re out whatever you wired plus whatever you spent.

A Kroger representative told WCNC flatly, “It is definitely a scam.” The FTC has warned about the same script running under other retailer names.

Any Kroger survey that sends money before you do anything is a scam, without exception.

How often you can take the Kroger survey

Once a week. Kroger prints the rule on the entry screen itself, above the form: “Limit one 50 Fuel Points Survey Bonus per 7 days.”

That settles a question most pages in this niche get wrong. The common claim is one survey per receipt with no cap, so two trips in one day would pay 100 points. It will not. A second receipt inside the same seven days still lets you complete a survey, but no second bonus posts.

I had this section down as unresolved until I opened the form and read the line above it. Worth remembering that the answer to a lot of these questions is printed on the page everyone is writing about without looking at.

The sweepstakes side is separate and stricter. The official rules I could read limited online sweepstakes entries to one per day, which doesn’t stop you completing a second survey for fuel points.

The Kroger pharmacy survey is a separate branch

If you filled a prescription instead of buying groceries, the survey branches. The Qualtrics form’s own page title covers “In Store or Pharmacy visits,” and pharmacy receipts carry their own survey invitation.

Same entry method, different questions. It asks about wait time and the pharmacist interaction rather than produce quality.

The pharmacy earns points on its own, separately from the survey. Kroger’s points program page lists 25 fuel points for a standard prescription and 75 for a 90-day refill. A Little Clinic visit earns points too. So a pharmacy trip that also produces a survey invitation is one of the better points-per-minute stops in the store.

Which Kroger store banners this survey covers

Kroger operates under a long list of names, and the same feedback survey and fuel points program generally reach Fry’s, Ralphs, King Soopers, Dillons, Smith’s Food and Drug, QFC, Fred Meyer, Pick ‘n Save, Mariano’s, Metro Market, Baker’s, Gerbes, City Market, JayC and Payless.

The loyalty card changes name with the banner. It’s the Kroger Plus Card under the Kroger name, a SooperCard at King Soopers, a V.I.P Card at Fry’s, and so on down the list. The survey and the points program behind it don’t change.

Harris Teeter is the exception. Kroger owns it, but it runs its own survey at htsurvey.com, built around a monthly $500 Harris Teeter gift card drawing and tied to the VIC rewards program rather than Kroger fuel points. A Harris Teeter receipt does not go into kroger.com/feedback.

The $5,000 Kroger sweepstakes, with the caveat everyone skips

Every page in this niche states a $5,000 grand prize as current fact. Here’s what I can actually verify.

The last complete official rules I could read covered October 1, 2022 through May 27, 2023: one $5,000 Kroger gift card per monthly drawing, 100 first prizes of $100 each, and residents of Florida, New York and Rhode Island excluded from that period. Kroger has kept running versions since. I have not read a 2026 rules document, and I doubt most sites quoting the number with total confidence have either. Open the official rules link on the survey page before you build expectations on it.

There’s also a mail-in entry route, open to any legal resident who qualifies, which the law requires and which is not a loophole. Handprint your name, address and phone number on a postcard and mail it to Kroger Survey Sweepstakes Entry, PO Box 728, Social Circle, GA 30025. That enters the drawing. It produces no fuel points, because points need a real transaction to attach to.

Your odds on a monthly draw across a chain serving millions of weekly shoppers are bad in a way that’s hard to overstate. Take the survey for the 50 points. Treat the gift card as a free lottery ticket.

Questions people actually ask about the Kroger survey

These come up repeatedly in shopper and Kroger employee communities, and most of them go completely unanswered on the pages currently ranking for this.

Does the Kroger survey actually change anything in the store

One survey changes nothing. Patterns change things.

The likelihood-to-recommend question you answered is the Net Promoter Score question, and it feeds a number Kroger tracks against its competitors. QuestionPro measured Kroger at an NPS of 30 in Q1 2025 across 1,000 respondents, against a grocery industry average of 37. A gap like that gets discussed several floors above your store.

The free-text comments have teeth at store level. Specific complaints about one department at one store, repeated by different people, do get read. A single “checkout was slow” does not.

Will a bad rating get a Kroger employee in trouble

Possibly, and it’s worth ten seconds of thought before you rate.

Store and department scores roll up, and managers are measured on them. So if your complaint is that three registers were closed at 6pm, remember that the cashier who scanned your groceries did not set the staffing budget. Someone at corporate did.

Put it in the comment box instead. “This store is understaffed at dinner time” travels further and lands on a desk where somebody can act on it. Giving the person in front of you a 2 does not.

Do I have to spend a lot to get the 50 fuel points

No. A $2 Kroger receipt earns the same 50 bonus points as a $200 one. The survey bonus is flat and tied to completing the survey, not to your basket size. The 1-point-per-dollar earning is a separate thing, and that one does scale with what you spent.

Can two people take the survey on the same receipt

No. One Entry ID, one survey. The second attempt gets rejected.

Whose card do the fuel points go to

The card that was on the receipt, not the person filling in the form. Take the survey using your roommate’s receipt and your roommate gets the 50 points.

Is the Kroger survey worth doing if I barely drive

Yes, but only because of the grocery redemption, and I had this wrong until I read Kroger’s own points program terms.

The fuel angle really is weak for non-drivers. Fifty points is 5 cents a gallon and points die at the end of the following month, so if you fill up once every six weeks most of what you earn expires unspent.

But 100 points also redeems as $1 off groceries. Since you’re already earning a point per dollar on every shop, your 50 survey points get absorbed into a block you were going to complete anyway, and that block is worth a dollar at the register whether or not you own a car. Four minutes for fifty cents of marginal value is still a low hourly rate. It’s just not zero, which is what most people assume.

Can I take the Kroger survey without a loyalty card

You can complete it, but you won’t get fuel points, because there’s no card for them to land on. You’d still be entered in the sweepstakes. A Kroger Plus Card is free and takes about two minutes to get at the service desk.

My pickup or delivery receipt has no Entry ID

Common, and not a defect. Use the store phone number route covered above.

How the Kroger survey compares to other store receipt surveys

Kroger sits at the practical end of this category. The reward is small but it’s certain, it’s automatic, and it arrives in 48 hours.

Most other grocery and retail receipt surveys pay in sweepstakes entries alone, which is worth approximately nothing. Lowe’s runs its own version with a gift card drawing and no guaranteed reward, so the expected value is a rounding error even though the headline number is bigger.

That’s the whole trade. Kroger gives you sixty cents you’ll definitely get. Everyone else offers you a lottery ticket and calls it a reward.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a login for the Kroger feedback survey?

No. The Kroger feedback survey has no account and no password. You enter the date, time and Entry ID from your receipt and answer the questions. The only sign-in involved is your regular Kroger account, used afterward to check whether the fuel points landed.

Is there a Kroger feedback survey app?

No. The Kroger app holds coupons, your card barcode and your fuel points balance, but not the survey. Open kroger.com/feedback in Safari or Chrome on iPhone or Android.

Is the Kroger survey legit?

The survey printed on your receipt is legitimate. Kroger runs it through 84.51° and pays 50 fuel points. Surveys that reach you by Facebook ad, popup, or an email offering to hire you as a customer survey analyst are scams. A real Kroger survey never sends you a check.

How do I get 50 bonus fuel points from the Kroger survey?

Complete the survey at kroger.com/feedback using a receipt from the past week, from a trip where your loyalty card was scanned. The points post to that card within about 48 hours.

Where is the Entry ID on a Kroger receipt?

Near the bottom, printed as blocks of digits under the survey invitation. Fuel center, pickup and delivery receipts often don’t have one.

Why is the Kroger feedback survey not working today?

Usually the receipt is out of date, it is a fuel center receipt, or that Entry ID was already used. Time trips people up too, because the form only offers a 12-hour dropdown, so a receipt printed in 24-hour time has to be converted. A content blocker stopping the Qualtrics form will prevent the page loading at all.

Can I take the Kroger survey without a receipt?

Not for fuel points. You can enter the sweepstakes by mailing a postcard with your name, address and phone number to Kroger Survey Sweepstakes Entry, PO Box 728, Social Circle, GA 30025.

How much is 50 Kroger fuel points worth?

Five cents off per gallon at the margin, which is about sixty cents on a 12-gallon fill. Points redeem in blocks of 100, so 50 on its own redeems as nothing until your balance crosses the next hundred.

When do Kroger fuel points expire?

At the end of the month following the month you earned them. Monthly balances don’t combine.

Is the Kroger feedback survey anonymous?

The form doesn’t ask your name, but the Entry ID links to a transaction that carries your loyalty card, so Kroger can connect your answers to you.

How many times can I take the Kroger survey?

Once every 7 days. Kroger states the limit on the survey entry screen: “Limit one 50 Fuel Points Survey Bonus per 7 days.” A second receipt in the same week can still be surveyed, but it pays no second bonus.

Where can I use Kroger fuel points?

At Kroger fuel centers and regional partner stations. Kroger’s points FAQ names Shell, bp, Amoco and Turkey Hill. The cap is 35 gallons per fill. You can also redeem 100 points as $1 off groceries.

Last checked: 9 September 2026. Kroger changes survey mechanics and sweepstakes rules without announcing them, so the official rules link on the survey page beats this page, including on the parts where this page sounds certain.
